THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
Blade & Brush Bathrooms is run by Charles Long, who has worked in home restoration and craftsmanship since the early 2000s, starting in restoration work, then building experience through house flipping and neighborhood revitalization projects during the mid-2000s housing boom.
From there, he worked under a master carpenter specializing in high-end custom homes, learning the finish-level craftsmanship that custom builds demand. A period spent managing restaurants and consulting for local businesses added something most contractors don't have: real operational discipline— how to run a job on schedule, manage a budget, and treat a business like a business, not just a trade.
Since 2020, that combination of hands-on craftsmanship and operational rigor has been focused on one specialty: cosmetic bathroom transformations for Montgomery County homeowners.
